Blue Thunder Golf,
For more than 10 years, Blue Thunder®, the best custom designed shafts, have been designed by the Master Composite Shaft designer Rick Kashiyama and distributed by his company, SunOak International Inc., based in California, USA.
In 1991, Rick was appointed as the first sales representative for FUJIKURA® in the USA for the especially Blue Thunder® logo marked series. These products became an immediate success in the component market and were used by many golf professionals such as, Lee Trevino, Mark MaCumber, Charles Coody, Dale Douglass, Isao Aoki ..... and many others.
A couple of years later, Rick became independent from FUJIKURA® and continue the shaft designed of his new series under his own brand name, Blue Thunder®.Today, choosing the most advance shaft manufacturing processes, not only from FUJIKURA® but also from other leading companies, Rick continues to design and produced high quality and cutting edge technology composite golf shafts.
In 2002, Rick was selected by Orlimar to designed and produced Japan's premier version of golf shafts used in their clubs. These premier golf clubs, with Rick's specially designed shaft have become one of the best sellers in Japan's market.
